70 winning topics were awarded at the 11th Provincial Technical Innovation Competition 2021

On the morning of December 31, the Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with Hue University, the Confederation of Labor, the Department of Science and Technology, the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Youth Union held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 11th Thua Thien Hue Provincial Technical Innovation Contest, 2021. Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh attended to congratulate and deliver a speech.

In the 11th Competition 2021, 133 topics had been registered to compete in 06 contest sections, many of which had been properly invested, of high quality, and had been well received in practice, besides, there are national and international topics applied in practice. The participants range from ordinary workers such as mechanics, public employees, businesses, etc. to leading professors; various units with a high number of topics, such as University of Medicine and Pharmacy (18 topics), Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry (17 topics), Hue Central Hospital (16 topics), University of Pedagogy (12 topics)…

 

At the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 11th Technical Innovation Contest 2021, the Organizing Committee awarded 06 First Prizes, 05 Second Prizes, 10 Third Prizes and 49 Consolation Prizes to the authors and group of authors of 70 winning topics. The topics winning the first prizes are “Electronic document exchange solution between CPC-eOffice system and local government’s document management programs”, “Identification of Hue’s ginger and solutions for Ginger development in Thua Thien Hue”, “Role of Sperm DNA fragmentation test in the assessment of infertile men”, “Evaluating the effectiveness of high dose chemotherapy with autologous stem cell rescue in treating high-risk neuroblastoma at hue central hospital”, “Building science festival model in training and capacity development of teachers, students and community at Hue University Of Medicine And Pharmacy, Hue University’, “Developing training framework towards enhancing learners’ quality and capability”.

Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, acknowledged and praised the work of scientists and those who have contributed to scientific and technological research and development. Year after year, the number and quality of research projects grow; some topics, in particular, are near to reality and may be put into practice.

Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh emphasized that the scientific and technological revolution is having a significant impact on all aspects of social life. As a result, in the coming years, sectors and localities will continue to promote the creative emulation movement and technical innovations in each unit, establishing a close coordination link between scientific agencies, universities, inventors, and businesses, and promoting bridges to apply technical solutions in life.

Simultaneously, he proposed the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations to further enhance collaboration in the promotion of the movement of scientific creativity and research. Step by step, reaffirming Thua Thien Hue province’s status as a key science and technology center of the country; providing tangible contributions to the fulfillment of Politburo Resolution 54, which calls for the province to be transformed into a municipality by 2025.

At the same time, he proposed the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations to further strengthen cooperation in promoting the movement of emulation, creativity, and scientific research. Step by step affirming the position of a major science and technology center of the country; making practical contributions to the implementation of Politburo’s Resolution 54 on building and developing Thua Thien Hue province into a municipality before 2025.
