On August 25, Thua Thien Hue Union of Science and Technology Associations in collaboration with relevant departments and agencies conducted an evaluation to select and honor amateur inventors in Thua Thien Hue province for the first time in 2017.
According to the Organizing Committee, after almost half a year of implementation in departments and agencies, districts, towns, cities … there were more than 60 application submitted for slection. Based on the proposed criteria (technically creative and innovative, scientific and technological solutions being implemented in the province; participants must not work for any scientific research organizations, must not have professional training in science and technology; technical creations and innovations must not be funded by the State…), the Organizing Committee selected 18 applications to be honored as amateur inventors of Thua Thien Hue province for the first time in 2017.
This is a meaningful activity to acknowledge the contributions of amateur inventors in the province, who have technical creations, initiatives, innovations that have been widely applied in production and life.
The honoring ceremony is to be held on mid-September 2017.
