THUA THIEN HUE HAS FIVE WINNING PROJECTS AT THE 16TH NATIONAL TECHNICAL INNOVATION CONTEST (2020-2021)

On the evening of May 11, at the Hanoi Opera House, the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC) held the Closing and Awarding Ceremony of the 16th National Technical Innovation Contest (2020-2021).

The National Organizing Board received 539 solutions from the Organizing Boards of 54 provinces, cities, ministries and agencies for this contest, with 74 prizes awarded in the fields of Information Technology, Electronics, and Telecommunications. There are 115 solutions in the fields of Mechanics and Automation, Construction, and Transportation; 55 in the fields of Materials, Chemicals, and Energy; 98 in the fields of Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, and Environment; 86 in the fields of Medicine and Pharmacy; and 111 in the fields of Education and Training. The Organizing Board opted to award 84 solutions, with five first prizes, eleven second prizes, twenty-three third prizes, and forty-five consolation prizes.

The National Awards Ceremony and Closing Ceremony

Thua Thien Hue presented 19 projects, of which there are 05 winning projects, including one second prize, one third prize, and three consolation prizes. The following are the excellent projects awarded at the National Competition:

“Surgery for common congenital heart disease through the axilla: Solution of the future” by Tran Hoai An, MSc, Specialist level II and coworkers of Cardiovascular Center, Hue Central Hospital (the second prize).

“Research and manufacture pyrolysis machine to make high-quality biochar from organic agricultural and forestry by-products” by Pham Xuan Phuong, MSc. and coworkers of the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (the third prize).

“Solutions for electronic document interoperability between CPC-eOffice programs and document management programs of local authorities” by Phan Quang Nhat, MSc. and coworkers of Thua Thien Hue Power Company (the consolation prize).

“Building a geographic information system for initial medical examination and treatment management in Thua Thien Hue province” by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Minh Tam and coworkers of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University (the consolation prize).

“Agriculture IoT System” by Nguyen Van Quy, PhD, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University (the consolation prize).
