On the morning of December 8, 2020, in Hue city, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of the province (HUSTA) held a seminar on “Introduction of innovative technical solutions for socio-economic development in Thua Thien province”. Attending were representatives of leaders of departments, administrators, teachers and students, students of universities, colleges, high schools, and junior high schools in the province, especially representatives of investment funds, businesses, organizations to support and promote the startup community in the province.
At the seminar, there were 09 typical technical solutions introduced in the fields of learning aids and computer software, environmentally friendly products, household appliances and children’s toys. The above topics have excellently won high prizes at the provincial and national Youth Creation Contest. Those are the initiatives that arise in learning process, living and real daily life of the authors. Through different perspectives, they have produced useful products that serve their life.
At the hall, there were 01 report and 03 scientific reports presented. In addition, delegates listened to the Thua Thien Hue Development Research Institute with a report on the subject “Building Innovative Ecosystems in Thua Thien Hue contributing to promote socio-economic development”. The issue of copyright ideas, research results of topic authors as well as support activities to bring scientific research results go into life.
Also on this occasion, HUSTA connected and organized the signing ceremony between Vietnano Company and the group of authors of the products “Anti-mosquito cream from lemongrass oil – Lemon” on cooperation in product development and commercialization.
In Conclusion, Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Dang, Chairman of HUSTA affirmed: This will be a regular activity organized by HUSTA to promote science and technology activities in Thua Thien province. This activity has always received the attention and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee, which helped promote research, technical creation and application deployment in life. Over the years, hundreds of topics, projects and thousands of technical innovation solutions have been researched and created in the process of learning, labor and production, contributing to promote socio-economic development, provincial associations, improve productivity, quality and efficiency of production, protect the environment, improve people’s material and spiritual lives.
