Hue City, December 5, 2025 — The Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations (HUSTA), in cooperation with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hue City and Hue University, successfully organized the forum “Promoting the Potential and Intellectual Strength of Hue’s Young Intellectuals in International Integration”. The event reaffirmed Hue’s commitment to cultivating a dynamic generation of young intellectuals as a key driver for the city’s sustainable development and global engagement.
Empowering Young Intellectuals for a Sustainable Future
High-quality young intellectuals are recognized as the “golden key” to Hue’s socio-economic transformation in the era of international integration. They play a crucial role in implementing Politburo Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, which identifies science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as strategic breakthroughs for economic modernization and governance reform.
The forum was attended by leaders from city departments, scientists, lecturers, researchers, and representatives of startups and educational institutions across Hue. The participation of students from universities, colleges, and high schools reflected the growing enthusiasm of the younger generation toward innovation and global integration.
Strengthening Innovation and International Collaboration
Speaking at the opening, Mr. Tran Nhu Dang Tuyen, Vice Chairman of HUSTA and Head of the Organizing Committee, underscored the significance of global engagement for Hue’s development:
“In recent years, the trend of ‘going abroad to return’ has demonstrated the global competitiveness of Hue’s young intellectuals. Many have applied advanced techniques learned overseas—ranging from bone marrow transplantation to digital transformation research—bolstering Hue’s stature as a center of excellence in medicine, science, and technology.”
