The contest 2017 – First Prize – Antibacterial, bio-degradable bags, an alternative to nylon bags

The product uses tapioca starch and nano silver solution, polyvinylancol (PVA) to form bio-bags with antibacterial property and bio-degradable. These antibacterial bio-bags are created as food packaging as alternative to PVC, PP, PE bags as premium food packaging. Using biodegradable bio-bags instead of nylon bags and food wrap made of Polietilen in order to minimize environmental pollution problems caused by nylon bags.

The product resembles conventional nylon bags but with better quality and added antibacterial property. Cost for production and price is equal to or cheaper than conventional nylon bag. It is biodegradable. It is not harmful to the environment. If used for exporting Vietnam fruits abroad, the antibacterial bio-bags will be the right choice to keep food always fresh and delicious.
