Combination of bio-contact filter and smart, eco-friendly, high-quality filtration & sedimentation technology to treat the contaminants in water sources is the advanced technology in Vietnam water supply. This tank uses granular activated carbon as a media for micro-organisms to decompose and treat organic matters. So the technology mustn’t revert or replace granular activated carbon. The settled water has a good quality which is not cause filter clogging and optimize the organic and toxic treated removal through uBCF(*).
The planned application of smart, eco-friendly, high-quality filtration & sedimentationand bio-contact filter technologyis an advanced water treatment process for removing the contaminants in water sources,including organic and inorganicmatters.Thus, the treated water quality of HueWACO can be comparable to European and Japanese drinking water quality standards. This technology contributes to maintain sustainably safety water supply at HueWACO.
Pratical application:
– Applied pilot 3.000m3/day at HueWACO from 2018 – 2019.
– To be being applied in the design of factory-Van Nien 3 – HueWACO with a capicity of 120.000 m3/day in the year 2020.
