On the evening of September 29, at Quoc Học National High School, there was the Closing and Awarding ceremony and for the XIII Youth and Children Creative Contest, 2020 (the Contest). Attending and commending 63 excellent subjects awarded were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of provincial departments, agencies and members of the Competition Organization.
This year, there were 141 subjects selected from the participating units at the provincial level, of which 25 subjects were of primary school age, accounting for 17.7%; 55 subjects of middle school age accounted for 39% and 60 subjects of high school age accounted for 42.6%; College has 01 topic, accounting for 0.7%.
The Organization selected and decided to award 63 awards, including: 2 first prizes, 8 second prizes, 15 third prizes, 38 consolation prizes and 25 topics to participate in the 16th National Competition in 2020.
According to the Contest Organization Committee, the topics are researched to solve problems in real life. Typically, there are 07 topics researching solutions that contribute to repel the impact of COVID-19 translation.
In addition to awarding 63 awarded subjects, the Organizing Committee also gave 01 award for the youngest author joining and winning prizes of the Contest, introduced 1 high-achiving candidate to receive and Vallet scholarship of the Rencontres du Vietnam Organization. At the same time, the Organizing Committee also rewarded 7 collectives and 5 individuals with excellent achievements in propaganda, dissemination and organization of the Contest.

Speaking at the Contest Closing and Awarding Ceremony, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh praised and congratulated the young students and creators who won the awards. This shows that the scientific creative research movement among teenagers and children has had many positive development, many innovative solutions demonstrate novelty and high applicability.

Immediately after the Ceremony, the Organizing Committee also officially launched the 14th Youth and Children Creative Contest of Thua Thien Hue Province, in 2021.
